A FASHIONABLE NEW LOOK AT ALTONA GATE
After months of work, we’re pleased to share that centre upgrades at Altona Gate are now complete!
We’re excited to welcome you back in centre to discover the transformation including a fresh contemporary look with pops of colour, new comfortable lounge areas, and lush greenery, making Altona Gate the perfect place to shop, eat and catch up with friends.
Complementing the new look is an exciting mix of retailers. We’ve refreshed the retail and food offering and have welcomed Cotton On Mega, Bed Bath N’ Table, House, Skechers, Connor, Sportsgirl, Edge and more exciting upcoming new retailers to join the centre, whilst expanding Sacca’s Fine Food, providing all your fresh and gourmet food needs.
Priceline has also relocated next door, to a larger, modernised store for all your skincare, perfume and pharmaceutical needs.
This transformation and new retailers are set to provide you with a new and improved shopping experience, providing something both welcoming and modern for our vibrant local community.
When you visit us next and need to take a break, take advantage of the new furniture pods, scattered through the centre, or head to the new community space with custom, inbuilt timber clad seating areas, surrounded by lush plantings and new café seating.
In need of a coffee hit? Head to Pour & Sip Cafe, The Coffee Club, or with Fat Jacks, Sushi Sushi and Roll’d also available to cure those hunger cravings. Not to mention Gong Cha if you’re after something a little more refreshing!
The development of the centre aims to create a modern shopping space for our customers. By significantly improving the ambience of the centre to be more inviting and luxury. Accommodated by our new retailers, with a wide range of new eatery options for our locals.
The Lower Ground new retailer precinct will also benefit from a reconfiguration of the mall to accommodate new kiosks and retailer stores. Fashion, home-wares, food and everyday essentials can be found in one place at Altona Gate.
Complementing the significant centre upgrades will be a suite of new major and speciality retailers. All of our new retailers are due to open in 2022. Stay tuned for updates!

1) What is the objective for the development at Altona Gate?
We are creating a contemporary new look for Altona Gate, with the updated mall space and new retail mix offering an improved centre atmosphere and shopping experience.
2) What part of the centre will get an upgrade and what will be upgraded?
The Lower Ground Floor (new retailer precinct) will get a complete make-over including a fresh contemporary look with pops of colour and new comfortable lounge areas. The centre atmosphere and ambience continues to be our focus as we look to create an enjoyable shopping experience for all our customers.
3) Will there be a new food court coming?
While our food court will not be making a return, the centre has a variety of new and exciting food options for you to enjoy, including cafes, restaurants and on the go food and drink options. Our priority continues to provide our customers with as many food options as possible. We also have more new food retailers coming soon. 4) Are there any additional take-away food options?
Yes. Sacca’s Fine Foods Cafeteria expansion is now open! Providing you with a few more exciting food options to consider. 5) Will there a fun play zone or area for kids?
Our goal is to create a family-friendly experience for our customers and local community, however at this stage we have not considered a play zone area for kids as part of the current development. Customer feedback on this topic has been extremely valuable and as such, Altona Gate Centre Management will consider this element in future development plans.
